Name: Jacy Marmaduke, Peter Kiewet Fellow

School: University of Nebraska-Lincoln

Style of reporting: For News21, long-form, investigative journalism. In general, I love all kinds of written reporting.

Previous internship or work experience: Dallas Morning News, Grand Island Independent in Grand Island,  Neb., Arkansas Democrat-Gazette in Little Rock, Ark.

Favorite reporting experience: It’s hard to pick one because I’ve met so many great people and learned so much while on the job. But my favorite was probably traveling to Santa Fe, New Mexico, to interview LaDonna Harris, a Comanche activist and founder of Americans for Indian Opportunity. What an inspiring woman!
